Infrared

How incredible are these photographs by amateur photographer Hannes Runelöf?

"Based in Stockholm where he's currently going to school for computer science, Runelöf says he picked up photography as a hobby six years ago when he bought his first camera. Since then, he's mastered the technique known as infrared shooting, using his digital Nikon D70 and a special infrared filter to cast an overexposed effect over his photos

As a result, images look ethereal and dreamlike, tinted with strange, inverted colors. "It makes normal environments we're used to look different," he says. "I think it looks a bit like winter but still feels like spring or summer. Like another planet.""

And how magnificent is the pink photograph?? Definitely my favourite!

Downtown from behind

I'm sure after a sh*te day, a bunch of flowers like this would turn it all around, right?

How great is this picture? I just adore it.

Check out more like it on downtown from behind.

The site is a collection of photos shot in various locations of people on their bikes all around New York.   The photos, as the title suggests are taken "from behind".

Walt

How brilliant would this be if this was actually for real?

Ryan Gosling as Walt Disney?? Yes please. Sadly it isn't though.

As per movie fanatic "Pascal Witaszek, a French artist, designed the faux movie poster for a non-existent film that appears to be a biopic of Disney.

Witaszek even has it being directed by Ron Howard" Plus - how cool is the cloud?

Sugar Hit

I have been trying to go on a bit of a health kick this week but these look very tempting right about now. I'm thinking of the cheats version tho - using two butternut snap biscuits with a spread of nutella and a glass of milk - any excuse to use my fancy straws huh??? if you want the long version though - go here
:)

and on a totally different note, if you are into dubstep (which i'm not really - but the boy is a massive Skrillex fan) - check this song out. I'm loving it at the moment!

Popsicle Lips

Popsicle Tinted Lips Tutorial via Beauty Swatch:

1. Prep lips with a lightweight lip balm. I used MAYBELLINE Baby Lips Lip Balm “Protecting Berry” (NYFW Limited Edition).

2. Apply a lip stain to the inner semi-circle area of the bottom lip. I used BENEFIT Benetint.

3. Repeat on the upper lip, changing the direction of the wand you’re applying outwards.

4. Use a lip brush to apply your favourite nude lipstick around the edges of the popsicle tint. Don’t worry about harsh lines for now. I used BLOOM Lipstick “Nude”.

5. Press your lips together to blend the popsicle tint & nude lipstick- gently.

6. Voila! The key to this look is to avoid over-doing it for a natural finish. Avoid re-applying the tint until your lipstick has worn off, otherwise it may smear and ruin the look.
